01484 713677I cannot get the Sea and the Beach out of my system. I have such feelings of happiness when I walk along a beach and look at the colours of the sea, its moods, shapes and patterns. The beach is also continually changing its shape, pattern and colour. Both are linked to the moods and colours of the sky. Maybe one day my weavings will move on – but for now I need to work my obsession through.
I am continually trying to improve my weaving and to find different ways of expressing how I feel – through the fibres I use and the patterns I weave – how the colours are blended and the shapes they make.
