I produce tapestry weavings on a frame, but sometimes on a loom, for wall hangings.
Natural fibres are used in my tapestry weavings, mainly cottons and linens.
I love exploring colour, pattern and shape in my weavings. Inspiration can come from a
derelict listed building, wood and pebbles on a beach, clouds in the sky, food or simply
a particular feeling. Contemporary and abstract images appeal to me.
I have always loved the simplicity and complexity of weaving. The challenges are endless
and with every tapestry weaving I work on, I always learn something new.
