Our biennial exhibition will be held in Peter Tavy Village Hall and Chapel.

Members looked at some of her influences, including landscape and journeys as a starting point for the work produced.
Also on show will be items made by spinning, hand dyeing and loom weaving, including garments made by members using their own hand-woven fabrics.
Plus: Demonstrations in spinning and weaving throughout the exhibition. Sales table and Raffle.

2. AGM

Dear Members.

The AGM this year will be at Dovecot Studios in Edinburgh on Saturday, 30 November at 11:00am. This will be followed by a tour of Dovecot and the exhibition ‘May Morris: Art & Life’, places for this are limited.

To give as many of you as possible the opportunity to attend our annual AGMs we will be finding venues around the UK. In this way we can be sure to include as many of you as possible in sharing in BTG discussions and decisions that effect you all.

I would like to invite you to join us on the Committee. Members of the Committee have to seek re-election so if there are any people wanting to become the Chair, Treasurer, Secretary or a member of the Committee then please let me know in advance of the meeting so we can add your name to the list. Many thanks.

November is fast approaching so those of you who would like to come to the Dovecot Studios for the AGM (see below for details) please let me know.

Please also let me know if you would like to book for the tour and exhibition, tickets £12.50 payable in advance. They will certainly fill up as the date approaches so, to avoid disappointment, book now. (hilaryoc2017@icloud.com)

So, I personally, look forward to welcoming those who can come to the AGM and to everyone else, apart from the Minutes of the meeting, I will pass on the thoughts and visions of the new Committee.

Happy weaving to everyone,
