News: 'Threads in Sheds' at Farfield Mill
‘Twenty Shades of Silk’ (work in progress) Anne-Kirsti Espenes
5th January 2022 until 27th March 2022
Farfield Mill, Garsdale Road, Sedbergh, Cumbria LA10 5LW
Our exhibition is moving to its second venue, Farfield Mill in Sedbergh, Cumbria, opening on 5th January. Farfield Mill is another interesting venue to visit, with a range of artists’ studios, including several weavers, heritage information and other exhibitions to look at while you are there, as well as Threads in Sheds. The tea room is worth visiting too!
The exhibition will be on until 27th March. Farfield Mill is usually open Wednesday - Sunday, 10:30 - 4, but do check the website for any updates to opening times.
BTG member, Anna Wetherell, also has a tapestry in progress on the top floor. She’s usually there on a Friday if you wish to see tapestry weaving in action and learn more about the process.
For those of you who won’t be able to visit in person, the catalogue is still available via the BTG website, along with catalogues from a range of previous exhibitions and also back copies of Tapestry Weaver.
