I run workshops and ‘Back to Basics’ tapestry weaving sessions here on the Cumbria / Yorkshire Dales border, both through Farfield Mill ( and privately. Sessions are suitable for beginners and those wishing to improve their skills. All equipment can be provided. Through Nearly Wild Weaving, we run online peer-to-peer Tapestry Together and Troubleshooting Tapestry sessions, looking at specific aspects of tapestry weaving, alongside Tapestry: In Conversation where we talk to fellow tapestry weavers. We organise a range of face to face workshops and other activities in wonderful locations, alongside well known weavers and even musicians, making the most of opportunities to explore the local area and finding different ways to look at place - see our website for further details. Collaborative projects are also welcomed.
