Jackie Bennett
I teach beginners, improvers, those wishing to learn design, shaped weaving and textural effects, including Tree Weaving. Regular classes and tutorials. One-to-one and small groups by appointment.
Jennifer Bennett
I offer one- to -one basic instruction in weaving tapestry and other textile techniques at my home studio by appointment. Please contact me for further information.
Jane Brunning
I run a monthly Saturday weaving class for all levels from my studio in Angmering. All other courses are on my website.the year. I also run weaving , dyeing and textile courses from 1 to 5 days.
Claire Buckley
I teach beginners and those who want to develop their skills in tapestry weaving through exploring techniques, use of colour and design. Learn how to set up, weave a variety of techniques for shapes, shading and diagonals. The classes are small so students have a lot of individual help and encouragement. My life by the sea inspires my work and students can learn how to include beach finds such as shells in their work.
Hilary Charlesworth
Hilary Charlesworth is a tapestry weaver with over 35 years of experience in weaving and teaching. She is the author of "Painting with Yarns", an introduction to woven tapestry. run sessions in South London, as well as partnering with established art centres.
Louise Oppenheimer
Weaving workshops in my studio for individuals or up to 4 people. Using frames nailed top and bottom for warping, explore colour blending possibilities and creating designs in a relaxed, informal atmosphere.

Elements: Art Through Tapestry
Design your next tapestry with confidence! With a focus on art, this online course explores one element at a time to include the 7 Elements in Art: Shape, Line, Value, Color, Texture, Form, and Space and how they relate to tapestry. Anna Wetherell
I run workshops and ‘Back to Basics’ tapestry weaving sessions here on the Cumbria / Yorkshire Dales border, both through Farfield Mill (https://www.farfieldmill.org) and privately. Sessions are suitable for beginners and those wishing to improve their skills. All equipment can be provided.
Through Nearly Wild Weaving, we also run online peer-to-peer Tapestry Together and Troubleshooting Tapestry sessions, looking at specific aspects of tapestry weaving, alongside Tapestry: In Conversation where we talk to fellow tapestry weavers. In our Nearly Wild Weaving Experiences, join us to weave outdoors (weather permitting!), being inspired by your surroundings. We also run a range of workshops - see our website for further details.
