Claire Buckley

I am a freelance Textile artist, curator, author and qualified teacher. I like to share my love, knowledge and experience for textiles through exhibiting, working to commission, teaching adults and children, talks and demonstrations, and consultation on textiles to the National Trust and Charleston Trust, among other clients. I like to use a range of materials and to explore the use of colour and texture to create interesting surfaces. I designed the Colour Blend kit for Weaversbazaar. 
I have the MA Visual Arts from West Dean College, where I specialised in Tapestry and Textile Arts, also the MA (Ed.) Language, The Arts and Education from University of Sussex.
