MELODY IN COLOR
Hand-woven tapestry weaver, I combine technique and improvisation, experience and feelings that seek to be expressed so that my thoughts, emotions and concerns take material form, becoming my work the common thread between my creative energy and that of the viewer. I’m interested in transforming personal emotions into something others can recognize within themselves. My work is not merely something I make; it’s a place I experience and to a large extent, a way of life. I immerse myself in a psychological space where introspection invites me to explore new ideas, shapes and textures, giving rise to new works. Creating light and shadow, I use colour to express emotions and feelings turning threads into messages through texture and form. Through this ancient technique, I convey human emotions and experiences, blending tradition with contemporary vitality.
Deeply interested in human evolution and our relationship with nature, society, and consciousness, I interpret reality—landscapes, feelings, concerns—always pursuing balance, presence, and psychological depth in realistic and abstract works. My aim is to carry the tradition of tapestry weaving into the present through contemporary works that speak not only to our emotions, but also to the way we look at the world we inhabit.
