Emma Jo Webster

Emma Jo Webster uses a colourist approach to her painterly handwoven tapestries – renowned for hand woven portraiture and her colourful abstract weavings. She exhibits nationally and internationally and is well known in her field. Emma Jo has woven for professional studios several times during her 30 year career weaving on some major projects such as The Stirling castle Tapestries and more recently “The caged Birds song” by Chris Ofili which was shown at the National Gallery London summer 2017.

Currently Emma Jo is a master weaver working part time at the Dovecot Studios in Edinburgh.
