I started to learn tapestry weaving in 2018 and was instantly hooked by the number of disciplines involved in construction of a satisfactory image from nothing. I work primarily in wool though I am happy to use horsehair, tencel, embroidery cotton and anything else useful for the task in hand. In my most recent work people are in situations which could be read in several ways. For relaxation I weave small tapestries inspired by the ever changing local landscape.
